What I did

  • Designed a temperature-controlled PWM fan circuit using only analog and discrete logic.
  • Specified complete fan shutdown below a 2.5 V threshold.
  • Designed continuous duty-cycle adjustment from 50% at 2.5 V to 100% at 5.0 V.
  • Used an LTC6992-1 PWM generator operating at about 25 kHz.
  • Physical hardware validation has not been established.

Tools and technologies

  • LTC6992-1
  • Analog design
  • MOSFET switching
